Always remember that these recipes are only guidelines, feel free to experiment and substitute. Creative Pasta Salad

 

·         450 g short pasta (penne, rotini, macaroni)

·         2-3 tsp. Creative Affair

·         1/4 cup or less canola oil/olive oil

·         1-2 tbs. white vinegar

·         1/4 cup black pitted olives

·         chopped red pepper

·         cherry tomatoes

·         white ground pepper

·         salt to taste

 

  1. Cook pasta al-dente
  2. drain water and place in large salad bowl
  3. drizzle oil a little at a time and toss to cool and coat
  4. Once you've added all the oil sprinkle with pepper to taste
  5. let pasta cool to room temperature while tossing frequently to avoid sticking
  6. Once pasta has cooled add Creative Affair toss to coat thoroughly
  7. add vinegar and again toss and remaining ingredients
  8. cover and refrigerate until serving

Try adding flaked tuna and /or anchovies!!!
