Always remember that these recipes are only guidelines, feel free to experiment and substitute. Dips:

Creative Dip:

1.        Combine ingredients

2.        chill for at least 1/2 hour for best results

* add more to taste

Dill dip:

Combine ingredient and serve chilled goes great with wings, fries, veggies etc.

** Make your own butter milk by adding 1 tsp. white vinegar to 1/3 cup milk and let stand 15 minutes.

Shrimp Salad dip:

·          1/4 Ketchup

·          2 tsp. horse radish (more if you like it hot)

·          2 tsp. Creative Affair

·          juice of 1/2 lemon and zest

Combine ingredients and serve chilled.  No time to mix.  Add Creative Affair and lemon juice to your favourite seafood sauce.

Olive oil dip:

·          1/4 cup olive oil

·          2 tsp. Creative Affair

·          1 tbs. balsamic vinegar

·          pinch sesame seeds

Combine ingredients and serve with fresh Italian or French bread.

 

 

 

 

 

Creative Salsa:

·          2 cup seeded and chopped tomatoes

·          2- 3 tbs. olive oil

·          salt and pepper to taste

·          2 tsp. Creative Affair

·          1/2 cup chopped and seeded pepper (sweet or hot, your choice)

·          juice of 1 lemon and zest

·          1/4 cup onions chopped

Combine all the ingredients and serve

No time to chop, try adding 2 tsp. of Creative Affair to your favourite Salsa to give it that fresh made taste.  I will be our little secret!

Onion dip/French onion dip

1.        Heat onion over high heat and brown onion

2.        set aside to cool to room temperature

3.        combine remaining ingredients and add cooled onion stir and let sit

For French onion dip once onions have browned add 1/2 oz cognac and 1/2 oz sweet vermouth.

Allow alcohol to evaporate and set aside         (caution alcohol may flame up).  You may prefer to ignite alcohol to flambé
