Always remember that these recipes are only guidelines, feel free to experiment and substitute. Cuban Black Bean:

 

 

1.      Empty can of beans with their water into pot with chicken stock and vinegar and bring to a boil.

2.      Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients except Olive oil and simmer uncovered until mixture thickens approx 1/2 hour to 1 hour, mixture should still be runny.

3.      Add olive oil and let stand 15- 20 minute and service

 

 

Pour over white fluffy rice and service with roasted chicken for an authentic Cuban meal.
