Always remember that these recipes are only guidelines, feel free to experiment and substitute. Creative Bean Soup

 

  1. for canned beans, wash and drain; dry beans should be prepare per directions on the package
  2. in a large enough pot to hold all the ingredients add oil and beans
  3. sauté oven medium-low heat until tender
  4. add Creative Affair, stir and sauté an additional 2-3 minutes
  5. add water and bay leaves, raise heat to high to bring to a boil
  6. add salt and pepper to taste
  7. reduce heat and simmer to reduce water to achieve desired taste

Garnish with chopped scallions.  For  heat add a few drops of hot sauce.

* You can substitute chicken stock for water, but taste before adding salt.
