Poured over fluffy rice and served as a side to BBQ chicken.  This recipe is prefect to serve on a warm summer day or to warm up a cold winter day!

Cuban Black Bean recipe:
  • 1 can prepared Black beans
  • 2 heaping tsp. Creative Affair
  • 3 tbs. Olive oil
  • 1 tbs. white wine vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin
  • salt to taste

 

  1. Empty can of beans with their water into pot with chicken stock and vinegar and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients except Olive oil and simmer uncovered until mixture thickens approx 1/2 hour to 1 hour, mixture should still be runny.
  3. Add olive oil and let stand 15- 20 minute and service

Pour Cuban black bean over white fluffy rice and service with roasted chicken for an authentic Cuban meal.
